The Marksman Kit works with most firearms when you select the correct laser cartridge caliber. We have identified a very small number of firearms that are not compatible with our current laser cartridges: Ruger SR series, Walther PPK, Walther CCP, Beretta AX100, Beretta 92X Centurion, Marlin 336, SAA 1873 Replica, Winchester Model 54, and Savage 110.

Some firearms require a different caliber than traditionally required. Girsan 9mm should use a .380 laser. Tanfoglio 9mm should also use a .380 ACP laser because the barrel is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet.

Strikeman training does not include recoil - that is intentional. By removing recoil, you can focus on accuracy, trigger control, and reaction time without distractions, especially with that first shot that matters most. This builds muscle memory and consistency so when you train with live fire, you perform better under recoil.

Absolutely. Our Laser Cartridges are designed with a rubber pad on the back to protect your firing pin.

No. The Strikeman App is free. We do offer an optional Pro subscription for $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year with features like Open Target, which lets you use any target with the app, and advanced metrics. It is not required to use your Strikeman Dry-Fire Training system.
