HOW IT WORKS

SET UP YOUR STRIKEMAN

Your Strikeman Standard Kit will come with everything you need to get started: a target and target stand, a phone mount, and a laser cartridge in the caliber of your choice.

DOWNLOAD THE APP

Download the Strikeman app on your iOS or Android device and mount your phone on the included tripod. Our talented team of in-house engineers designed our free app to be easy to use and training-focused.

START TRAINING

Insert your caliber of choice into your firearm and start training. The soft bumper on the back of all Strikeman lasers prevents firing pin damage, and the included ejection tool makes for easy removal when you're done.

EXTENDED HOLIDAY RETURN PERIOD

At Strikeman, we stand behind our product. During the holiday gifting season, we extend our 45-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Returns will be accepted until January 31 of the following year for orders placed between November 1st to December 17th.

THE STRIKEMAN TARGET

The Standard Kit includes our precision bullseye target featuring custom calibration markers. These markers allow the Strikeman app to auto-calibrate instantly—so you can simply set it up, aim, and start shooting. And unlike live-fire practice, you never have to replace it. Because Strikeman uses a laser cartridge, your shots leave no holes, no marks, and no wear—meaning one target lasts forever.

The Laser Cartridge

Designed with safety in mind, our laser bullet is 100% safe for your firearm. It's crafted to withstand repeated use without damaging your weapon. The back of the bullet features a rubber button pad, which absorbs the impact of the firing pin, triggering the laser to strike upon firing. Unlike traditional bullets, our laser bullet is rimless, eliminating the risk of ejection after firing (with the exception of 12 Gauge shells.) Our Laser Cartridges last up to 30,000 shots.

THE STRIKEMAN APP

Set up our free app to record your session, aim at the target and it will automatically score your shots. You can even practice in Compete mode and challenge your friends, customize templates for training different scenarios, and earn achievements like High Shot Score, Quick Shot, 3-Day Streak and more.

Oh, and if you want to go Pro for only $9.99 a month, you unlock downloadable versions of ALL our expansion pack targets, advanced metrics and the Open Target mode- which lets you practice with any target from any brand.

Frequently asked questions

What about recoil?

Strikeman training doesn’t include recoil—that’s intentional. By removing recoil, you can focus on accuracy, trigger control, and reaction time without distractions- especially with that first shot that matters most. This builds muscle memory and consistency so when you do train with live fire, you perform better under recoil.
I'm buying a gift- how do I know what caliber to get?

Our Support Team can help you identify the caliber of your gift recipient's firearm if you have information about it. If you don't know what type of gun they have and want to keep the surprise, you can always get a base system and a gift card for the cartridge.

Is this safe for my firearm?

Absolutely! Our Laser Cartridges are designed with a rubber pad on the back to protect your firing pin.

Do I have to pay for an app?

Nope! The Strikeman App is FREE. We do offer an OPTIONAL Pro subscription for $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year with cool features like Open Target that lets you use ANY target with the app, and advanced metrics. But it is definitely not required to use your Strikeman Dry-Fire Training system.

Is my firearm compatible with Strikeman?

Short answer- almost definitely yes!

We have identified a very small number of firearms that are not compatible with our current laser cartridges. These firearms are NOT compatible with our regular laser cartridges:

  • Ruger SR series 
  • Walther PPK
  • Walther CCP
  • Beretta AX100
  • Beretta 92X Centurion
  • Marlin 336
  • SAA 1873 Replica
  • Winchester Model 54 
  • Savage 110

All other firearms should be compatible.

Here is a list of firearms that require a different caliber than traditionally required:

  • Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm- The barrel of this weapon is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet. Please use a .380 ACP for this firearm.
  • Tanfoglio 9mm - The barrel of this weapon is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet. Please use a .380 ACP for this firearm.
Do I have to rack the slide after every shot?

The slide won't get racked because there’s no dry-firing explosion. Double-action weapons can fire the Strikeman laser bullet without racking. If you use a single action weapon, Glock or 1911 firearm, you will need to charge the gun before each shot.
