Nope! The Strikeman App is FREE. We do offer an OPTIONAL Pro subscription for $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year with cool features like Open Target that lets you use ANY target with the app, and advanced metrics. But it is definitely not required to use your Strikeman Dry-Fire Training system.

Here is a list of firearms that require a different caliber than traditionally required:

Girsan 9mm should use a 380 laser.
Tanfoglio 9mm - The barrel of this weapon is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet. Please use a .380 ACP for this firearm.
