“Isn’t dry-fire bad for your gun?” → When done properly with the right tools, dry-firing your weapon is completely safe. In fact the Stikeman laser cartridge has a rubber bumper on the end to ensure your firing pin remains undamaged when training.

“What’s the point without recoil” → Professional shooters, active officers, firearm instructors, and veterans will all advocate for dry-fire training, despite the lack of recoil. Strikeman allows you to focus on your fundamentals and build confidence with your firearm. Dry-fire training isn’t about replacing live ammo, it's about a balanced training routine. With Strikeman your focus is on your aim, grip, stance, not the anticipation of the shot.

“Do I need to rack the slide for each shot?” → You will need to rack your slide to reset the trigger between each shot. However, double action firearms are able to fire consecutively.

“Is the app free?” → Yes, our base app is completely free to use. NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED! However, if you are looking to expand your training then you can upgrade to our Pro membership which will provide access to all of our expansion packs, additional training modes, exclusives promos, and more.

“Why don’t we offer a .22 caliber?” → Unfortunately at the moment we are not able to manufacture a cartridge small enough to fit inside a .22 while still being large enough to house the batteries needed. However, our development team is always working on new innovative ways to expand our product selection.

“How does the cartridge stay in the barrel?” → Our signature cartridge design and attached O-rings keep the cartridge securely in the barrel and prevent it from being caught by the ejector. Following your training, use the provided ejection rod to remove the cartridge from the barrel.

“How does the system track your shots?” → Before you start training, place your target at the desired distance and set up the tripod in front of it with the back camera facing the target. Following the calibration in the app, your camera will now be able to track and properly place your shots. The app uses laser detection to track your accuracy and provide you with real time analytics. The app then uses the tracked shots to provide you with shooting metrics and compile your historical data for future review.

“How can I use dry-fire to train self / home defense?” → With dry-fire training you have the opportunity to train more immersive drills then you can at the range. You can practice your holster draws, shooting on the move, clearing a room, and more. Dry-fire training means you get to practice in the place you want to defend most, your home.

“What is the exchange / shipping policy?” → Shipping costs will be added to your order depending on your location, however free shipping is applied on orders over $150 (applies to continental U.S. only). Exchanges & returns are allowed within 45 days of the purchase, however, additional fees may apply. Shipping time is typically around 8 days.

“Does Strikeman offer a military discount?” → We offer a 25% discount for Military or Government Personnel, Veterans, and Teachers! Once verified through GovX, you can apply your ID for the discount on the checkout page. After you check out and are on the address page, there will be a discount box to the right where you can enter your promo code. You will NOT be able to stack your codes and discounts with additional promos on the website. Only one discount can be applied at a time.

“What models are not compatible?” → We have identified a very small number of firearms that are not compatible with our current laser cartridges: Ruger SR series / Walther PPK / Walther CCP / Beretta AX100 / Beretta 92X Centurion / Marlin 336 / SAA 1873 Replica / Winchester Model 54 / Savage 110. It should be noted additional models may have issues. Please contact our support team with additional questions or concerns. Additionally, here is a list of firearms that require a different caliber than traditionally required: Girsan 9mm should use a 380 laser / Tanfoglio 9mm - The barrel of this weapon is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet, please use a .380 ACP for this firearm.
