You may know WHAT Strikeman is, but do you know WHO Strikeman is? Over the years the Strikeman brand has gone through a lot of changes and improvements. Due to all these changes some people have asked us about the company, and its legitimacy. So we want to share our history, look back at all the exciting progress, and take a glimpse of what is ahead.
2019–2021: Strikeman Is Founded
Strikeman began with a simple but powerful idea: make firearms training more accessible, effective, and safe for shooters of all levels. What started as a vision quickly turned into a growing brand built around helping people train smarter through dry-fire practice.
In these early years, Strikeman was owned and operated by a small team in Canada. To move fast and stay lean, much of the product and app work was outsourced overseas. The focus was on getting the system into shooters’ hands and proving the concept in the real world.
At the time, the company mainly sold small volume direct to consumers and appeared at gun shows to reach customers face-to-face. Those early events & sales helped shape Strikeman into what it is today, giving the team invaluable insight into what shooters needed most from a training platform.
2022: Strikeman Is Acquired by No Limits Enterprises
In 2022, Strikeman entered a new chapter when it was acquired by No Limits Enterprises. This was a huge business milestone which allowed us to change up everything Strikeman stood for.
With new investment and support, the team began tweaking the original product and platform to enhance the training experience. A major priority emerged quickly: rebuild the app from the ground up to allow more precise shot tracking and a smoother user experience.
At the same time, the company leaned heavily into ecommerce, enhancing the website and expanding to Amazon. Online sales became a bigger focus, opening the door to reaching more customers and supporting them better.
The power behind this transformation, a new engineering and design team that was created in Cincinnati, Ohio, laying the foundation for in-house innovation and long-term growth.
2023: Restructuring to Bring Work In-House
By 2023, Strikeman was ready to tighten the loop between product development and real shooter feedback. The company continued to restructure, bringing more work in-house and optimizing the app and system at a higher level.
Rigorously testing both the product and the app remained central to progress. Each update aimed to refine performance, reliability, and the overall training journey for users.
This year also marked a major expansion of the Cincinnati operation. New teams formed for marketing and sales creating smoother workflows and giving the brand a stronger foundation for scaling. Most importantly, customer support was brought in house from overseas to ensuring our customers had a more guided and personal system in place to help them through there shopping journey.
2024: Expanded Assortment and Continued Optimization
In 2024 a new app team was created in house to streamline updates and innovations. This led to the development of the best version of the app so far. Momentum carried on into the year with major additions to the Strikeman ecosystem.
Last year, Strikeman:
-
Launched the Marksman Kit, expanding training options for users who wanted more from their dry-fire training.
-
Created the SIRT training pistol, offering another way to train with consistent, purpose-built equipment. No real firearm needed.
-
Released the first expansion pack, featuring 2 new targets and 4 new training modes.
These updates and strategic launches were driven by a growing community of shooters. They asked for more variety, more challenge, and more ways to tailor practice to their goals, and we listened.
2025: New Products, Features, and Expansions
In 2025, Strikeman doubled down on variety and innovation—bringing a wave of fresh training content and hardware options to users.
Highlights included:
-
7 new targets, each paired with 2–3 additional training modes, giving shooters more scenarios and skills to build.
-
A tablet mount option for tripods, improving setup flexibility and convenience.
-
The debut of SmartShot, representing a new leap forward in training technology.
-
An update to the Pro membership feature, refining the premium experience for committed users.
The theme of 2025 was clear: more ways to train, more ways to grow, and more tools to meet shooters wherever they are on their journey.
