What Happened at Shot Show 2026? Key Takeaways for Gun Enthusiasts

Shot Show: Strikeman Takes Vegas

Following the new year, the Strikeman team geared up and hit the road for Las Vegas — that’s right, we’re talking about SHOT Show 2026. This year was chock full of incredible events, major brands, big names, and exciting new releases across the firearms industry.

Now it’s time for the Strikeman team to break down the key moments, what’s new, and our overall experience at the show. So if you couldn’t make it this year, no worries — we’ve got the recap you need to know exactly what went down at SHOT Show 2026.

Project Gunway: A New Spotlight on Women in the 2A Space

This year marked the first-ever Project Gunway, an event that brought together women in the Second Amendment community to showcase tactical style and celebrate female representation in the industry.

The event featured a variety of female firearm influencers and industry faces, creating a space that was equal parts empowering and exciting. Strikeman was lucky enough to get the chance to donate some training kits to the participating models.

The Strikeman team had the opportunity to sit down with one of the models, Emily Stanley (influencer / firearms instructor), also known as “Princessandthepistol.” When asked about her thoughts on the event, she shared:

“You could not tell this was the first time doing this event, it was so well managed. The show was so fun and crazy, the place was packed! It was an amazing experience.”

Emily also went on to highlight how incredible it was to see the support and unity within the female shooting community. Project Gunway was truly a standout moment of SHOT Show 2026 and a strong step forward for inclusivity in the 2A space.

The Gundies: Firearms Industry’s Biggest Night

Another major highlight of the week was The Gundies, the biggest awards show in the firearms and shooting world. This black-tie event was packed with notable influencers, brands, and shooters — all coming together to celebrate the best in the industry.

The awards ranged from top shooters to standout style, and the energy in the room was unmatched.

Strikeman sat down with Jonny Q to talk about the night and get his thoughts on the growing impact of the event. Jonny shared:

“It’s really cool to continue to see the awards growing. I love seeing all my buddies and getting to connect with them. It’s awesome to be at the Venetian Theatre and I was excited to be nominated for most dapper this year!”

The Gundies continue to be an incredible celebration of the community, and SHOT Show just wouldn’t feel complete without them.

New Products & Hot Releases on the Floor

SHOT Show 2026 was a massive year for firearms and accessories. We saw major new pistol releases from brands like:

  • Canik

  • Glock

  • Smith & Wesson

  • Springfield

  • And many more

These new drops were on full display across the showroom floor and created a serious buzz among attendees.

Smith & Wesson even hosted demo ranges and after-hours events, giving guests the chance to get hands-on experience with both new releases and popular models.

But it wasn’t just new guns stealing the spotlight…

Optics and holster brands also brought major innovation this year. We saw impressive new red dot optics from companies like:

  • Holosun

  • O-Sight

  • Swampfox

  • And others

With the growing popularity of red dots on everyday carry setups, the options and quality have truly never been better.

The Strikeman Booth: Where the Real Action Was

Of course, the real action could be found over at Booth #42935 — Strikeman.

SHOT Show 2026 was an exciting year for our brand, and we loved every second of it. At the Strikeman booth, attendees experienced:

  • Live product demos & face-offs

  • Meet & greets and Q&A sessions with industry experts

  • Free merchandise and products

  • Special SHOT Show promos

  • And more

Our team had the chance to connect with so many incredible organizations and individuals across the 2A industry. It was amazing to talk about dry-fire training, EDC preparedness, and favorite firearms with people who share the same passion for this community.

We also walked away with valuable feedback and new ideas — so get ready, because 2026 is going to be a huge year for Strikeman.
