What about recoil?

Strikeman training doesn’t include recoil—that’s intentional. By removing recoil, you can focus on accuracy, trigger control, and reaction time without distractions- especially with that first shot that matters most. This builds muscle memory and consistency so when you do train with live fire, you perform better under recoil.

I'm buying a gift- how do I know what caliber to get?

Our Support Team can help you identify the caliber of your gift recipient's firearm if you have information about it. If you don't know what type of gun they have and want to keep the surprise, you can always get a base system and a gift card for the cartridge.

Is this safe for my firearm?

Absolutely! Our Laser Cartridges are designed with a rubber pad on the back to protect your firing pin.

Do I have to pay for an app?

Nope! The Strikeman App is FREE. We do offer an OPTIONAL Pro subscription for $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year with cool features like Open Target that lets you use ANY target with the app, and advanced metrics. But it is definitely not required to use your Strikeman Dry-Fire Training system.

Is my firearm compatible with Strikeman?

Short answer- almost definitely yes! We have identified a very small number of firearms that are not compatible with our current laser cartridges:

  • Ruger SR series 
  • Walther PPK
  • Walther CCP
  • Beretta AX100
  • Beretta 92X Centurion
  • Marlin 336
  • SAA 1873 Replica
  • Winchester Model 54 
  • Savage 110

Here is a list of firearms that require a different caliber than traditionally required:

  • Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm- The barrel of this weapon is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet. Please use a .380 ACP for this firearm.
  • Girsan 9mm should use a 380 laser.
  • Tanfoglio 9mm - The barrel of this weapon is too tight for our 9mm laser bullet. Please use a .380 ACP for this firearm.

SIRT X Strikeman FAQ

What about recoil?

Training pistols like the SIRT do not have recoil, and that's intentional. If you've ever been to a basic handgun class, you've probably used a SIRT in the classroom before your instructor allows you into a range.

By removing recoil, you can focus on accuracy, trigger control, and reaction time without distractions- especially with that first shot that matters most. This builds muscle memory and consistency so when you do train with live fire, you perform better under recoil. Training pistols like the SIRT are excellent tools for safely learning about the fundamentals of firearm training.

Why is it so expensive? Real guns are that much!

You're not wrong. The Strikeman X SIRT is made in collaboration with NextLevel Training. That means every SIRT is top-notch training quality made right here in the USA. We probably could have made a cheaper, off-brand version...but do you really want a cheap, unreliable tool for firearms training?

Do I need to buy a laser cartridge AND the SIRT?

Nope. The SIRT has the laser built-in to the pistol. You do not need to rack the slide between shots, just keep pulling the trigger. If you want to practice with a real firearm, you would need one of our laser cartridges.

Shipping & Order FAQ

What is the return policy?

You have a 45-day risk-free trial period for Strikeman products. If your shooting skills don’t improve or you’re not fully satisfied, you can return any part of your order for a refund (minus return shipping). The Return Period begins from the day the order ships from our warehouse.

We cannot process refunds for any order shipped without first going through our Return Portal. 

Return Requirements: Orders must be returned with all components included and intact. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a USD $25 fee for the Pro system and a USD $15 fee for all other products. Products marked as “final sale” are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or warranty claims.

Purchases made from platforms other than Strikeman.io (e.g., Amazon, eBay, BassPro, gun shows) should follow the policies and procedures of those specific sellers for refunds and returns.

What is the exchange policy?

Product exchanges can be made for another item or variant of the same item within 45 days from the date of shipping. For orders placed between November 15 and December 20, exchanges will be accepted until January 31.

The cost of shipping the replacement item(s) depends on which item(s) will need to be shipped and ranges between $9.99 for Standard system and cartridges and $19.99 for the Pro system. An invoice for the return label will be issued, which must be paid before the replacement order is shipped out.

How does the 1-year warranty work?

One-Year Warranty: Strikeman offers a one-year warranty from the shipping date. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not protect against everyday wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or modification.

Submitting a Warranty Claim: To submit a warranty claim, follow the steps outlined on our portal, explain the issue, and include an image for verification. Once a representative approves, you will receive a return label for your claim or a replacement product.

It’s essential to review and follow these policies if you have purchased or plan to purchase Strikeman Training Systems to understand your options for returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, depending on your specific situation.

On our dedicated returns portal at https://strikeman.returnlogic.com/, you'll begin by providing your email address and order number. Then, as you would with a return or exchange, select the item that needs a warranty replacement.

How long does it take to get my order?

We proudly fulfill and ship from our Kansas City, KS warehouse. All orders are trackable with the tracking number emailed to you once your order has been shipped from the KS warehouse.

When your order is completed, please allow 1 - 2 business days for processing.

Shipping times range from 2 - 8 days based on the availability of the item.

Do you have a military discount?

We offer a 25% discount for Military or Government Personnel, Veterans, and Teachers! Once verified through GovX, you can apply your ID for the discount on the checkout page.

*After you check out and are on the address page, there will be a discount box to the right where you can enter your promo code. You will NOT be able to stack your codes and discounts. One discount only can be applied. This applies to GOVX military, veteran, government and teacher discounts as well. 


What is Strikeman Shipping Protection?

We provide the option to purchase Strikeman Shipping Protection when you checkout. If you decide to purchase, Strikeman Shipping Protection will cover:

-if a package has shipped, but is missing for more than 7 business days with no tracking updates

-if a package is stolen after delivery

-if a package is damaged in transit

Strikeman Shipping Protection will NOT cover:

-if you entered the wrong shipping address and it shipped there

-orders that haven't shipped-orders that do have tracking updates, just taking longer than usual

Note: If your order has not shipped yet, please email support@strikeman.io for help instead of filing a claim. Strikeman Shipping Protection will deny any claims that have not yet shipped since it is specifically shipping coverage.

If your order arrives with an incorrect or missing item, please contact Strikeman Support immediately. We are only able to process missing item, wrong item, or shipping protection claims within 45 days of the warehouse shipment date. Please include a picture of the items that did arrive and the packaging slip when contacting support. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please do not hesitate to reach out!
